No. P1 bridges the telemetry port, so RaceHub, SimHub and any dashboards you already run keep working exactly as before. You don't choose between P1 and your existing setup — they run side by side off the same feed.

Three steps. 1) Download for Windows and run the installer (it sets up P1 and a Start-menu shortcut, then auto-updates itself from then on). 2) In F1 25, turn UDP telemetry On once — port 20777, the game's default. 3) Launch the game, click Start Coaching, and drive. P1 auto-detects the game and starts reading. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes.

Yes. P1 coaches from your car's telemetry, not from what's on screen, so it works the same in cockpit, chase, TV-pod or any other camera. The overlay sits on top of the game and reads brake, throttle, speed, line and position regardless of the view you drive in.

P1 is local-first. It runs on your PC, reads telemetry locally, and you don't need an account just to run it. Your driving stays yours. The app reaches out only to check for updates — your laps aren't a product.

No. P1 only reads the telemetry the game already broadcasts — it never injects into, modifies or automates the game. It doesn't touch your inputs or alter the sim in any way; it's a read-only coach, the same data your wheel's dashboard or a stream overlay uses. Nothing about it violates a game's terms.
